A friend of mine told me that curried green apples tasted just like the curried mango chutney that we usually made, so I decided to try it.
Cut them up like so
Put them in the pot with curry, orange habanero pepper sauce, a little salt, parsley and oregano.
Add water (to cover) after a minute of sautee in curry
Bring to boil then simmer
Add a half cup of brown sugar
Cook for half hour (apples will mush -that is what you want)
Voila
