Social media food

I must be interacting with totally different people than I ought to, because all the pics of food I see on twitter and other sites, have very few veggies
It's all the food that I can't have anymore
Or that will make me ill...

Nobody seems to really have veggies as a constantly big part of their meals

Anyway I made this spicy curry soup with veggies
It was good...

Heavenly flowers

My mom and sis have been helping me
My momma used to make cauliflower chow chow for us when we were younger

I never watched her make it so she told me how to
I am making mine a little bit different to hers.
This will all help with whatever is going on with me

Cauliflower - cook by boiling or steaming but you want it to be soft

Garlic (as much as you want - I mean it)

Cut up with some jalapeno pepper and some orange habanero (I like spicy)

Add apple cider vinegar and let soak for maybe an hour

Add mustard and mix (add a lot - 4 tbsp)

Add to cauliflower

Bottle it

Store in refrigerator
Eat as a side
Its soooo delish

The thing about Bok Choi is the dirt

You have to wash and wash and wash this stuff to make sure it's clean
Not only wash, you gotta rub your fingers along the ribs to make sure the dirt is all off

Cut off the base as this makes life easier
But not too much of the base because the white part is great to eat

Then cut up
Sautee in the pan for a few mins

Then serve
It's hard to mess this up
The prep is the most important


My sis just helped me realize that my baked falafel is a version of Kachuri

Well I made some more because they are delish

Of course I mixed

Then baked

Because it's a little bit healthier than frying like how you have to for kachuri

I eat this with toum.

Some dinners

Bok Choi is my fave

So I try to have it as often as possible

And you can't go wrong with peas and carrots

Mango Banana

This is a two ingredient soft serve
I used my frozen mango and the frozen banana that I bought and froze a while ago
So in the beginning it looks like this

Mix and blitz

Till you get this

Its really good (only two ingredients)

3 or 4

I think I used three or four whole heads of garlic to make this toum.

I eat so much of it that it lasts only 2 weeks

I freeze the batch I am not using so that takes of things in terms of chemical or enzyme reactions

Long Time

It's been years since I have eaten sardines

I tried this

It tasted good but ithad more of a smoky flavor than I have ever tasted with sardines
At least this can stay on the list of foods I can eat
