Eating

I haven't been eating that much these days.
I haven't been hungry
So I am asking everyone what they have been eating.

I have found that everyone more or less eats in the same way everyday! How odd!
I think I want to be different and have something different everyday for each meal that I eat. I think I am different. I can literally predict what one of my friends are having and even sis sometimes.
That is why sis gets bored with food I think.
Chicken and coleslaw
Almonds
A muffin

I really have to make time to eat.
I do like drinking water though and eating coleslaw and baby carrots.
I recently discovered yummy plump prunes again....I usually eat those when I don't feel like cooking.
MMM prunes :)

Sweet Art Breakfast Bowl

I painted this bowl at the mall in that art shoppe.

This is my favorite bowl.

I did a tile as well but I didn't like it.

I think I want to do another bowl or a plate next :)

Tamarind Tomato Bisque with Tilapia

I used
Tomato Soup
Tilapia Fillet
Tamarind Chutney
Water
Chili Powder (no added salt)

Combine the water (1.5 cups),
3/4 cup Tamarind Chutney
1 Tin of Campbell's Tomato Soup

Bring to a boil
Add the fillets and reduce heat to a simmer.
Remove soup from heat after 5 minutes of simmer
It tastes a little tiny bit 'sour' because of the tamarind but its more a Thai flavor than anything.
Enjoy :)

Mushroom bites

I highly recommend these mushroom bites
They are a product of the SNAPPS brand like the jalepeno bites I had before.

They are mild in flavor but choc full of mushrooms.

I really like these as a snack, and they shaped them into a mushroom form.

Tangeriney

Fruits as snacks.
I really like tangerines, more than I like oranges.

The tiny ones seem sweeter than the big ones, but the big ones are easier to peel.
Either way, I win :)

Artsy Food

At the arts fair, they serve wine, water, juice, cookies, fruit and other snacks. Nothing that you wouldn't really expect.

Then I came to a jewelry art store and she had the fancy stuff.

People loved eating it.

I liked watching this food.

Bite sized, carbolicious and cute.
.
Beautiful and delicious

Recommendation

You are on a budget.
You like fish

Go to Albertson's and pick up one or ten (like I do), 4 oz potions of Wild Pacific Salmon.
They are only $1.00 per package.

I love it!

Sauteed Baby Carrots

They turn sweet.
It's amazing, and one of my new favorite things to eat!

Seasoned Baked Beef Salad

Season beef and bake uncovered at 350F for 45 mins.

Beak up
Add to cabbage and carrot mix

Add dressing

Mix and serve

Broccoli and Salmon

Again
Low Carb

Quick
Delicious
Season (as desired) salmon and sautee for 2 minutes on each side.
Each piece of salmon is a 3 or 4 oz portion.
Remove from pan and add frozen broccoli.

Cook till hot. Do not let it get too soft.
This meal fills you up, so you won't want to eat for the rest of the day.

Salmon and caramelized mushrooms

Oh... this was so quick, yet so delicious and low carb.
Season your salmon, as desired.

The salmon cooks quickly so stand close to your pan.

Cook your mushrooms down as desired.
Looks and smells scrumptous. Sis would like this if she were not allergic to mushrooms :(

Chocolatey Coffee Alcohol Bread Bran Pudding

I decided that I wanted to make a different Bread Pudding.
This recipe is all mine and so easy.

You can sit in front of the television and make this one :)

You will need:
Stale bread (I used some 2 week old bread I had in the fridge)
I used 3 whole hamburger buns and broke them up into useable pieces
Chocolate creme cookies which I broke up and put on top of the bread. I used 10.
Raisin Bran Cereal (for fiber). About 2 cups.

1 and 1/2 cups of coffee liqueur (if you don't have this just use 3/4 cup rum)
One chocolate pudding cup

Three eggs

Beaten with 1/4 cup of chocolate icing and 1/2 cup of milk (see picture)
Add the coffee liquer to the bread and cookies and bran flakes.

The bread will soak up the liquid nicely.
Add the pudding cup to the bread and cookie mixture

Incorporate the egg mixture into the bread and cookie mixture
Let sit for 10 minutes

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Scoop your serving out with a spoon.
It's soft yet firm. You feel the alcohol when you eat this.
Pop some ice-cream with it if you want.

You don't need any extra added sugar at all in this pudding.
