Early morning breakfast

This was a good idea

Ames was taking me to the airport and we stopped to eat

I gotta post this because while these crepes tasted ok...

I went on to have the best crepes I ever had, two days later...(will post that next)

This breakfast was good because of the company
We spent a long time talking and planning etc
One of the best times
We'd all hung out the night before too having dinner...

Boom

This place was hella interesting

The food was delicious

The seating was like at this restaurant I ate at in NYC ..Can't remember the name but it was a Thai place

I had a great time

One of the dishes came with shaved bonito which moved because of the heat of the food so it looked like little worms

OMG. I freaked out.
Till we looked it up on the Iphone and found out what was going on.
Have MERCY!
Then...

We went and got cupcakes :)

Mambo Italiano

We had to visit ONE Italian restaurant

This was the one we chose

We liked the decor

The gnocchi was good

I thought my meal wasn't great at all

Overall we didn't really dig the food that much

BUT

The place was cute enough and chic enough to make up for that

Well we just had to have some brunch

At a cute place of course

The cutest chic place we found was this

My plate was so good.

Eggs benedict with smoked salmon

Caviar gave it a yummy saltiness (the ball type things on the eggs)

with the cripsy skin of salmon

My mouth is watering thinking about it

I really liked the atmosphere there.

They were playing Roots type music

People like Common etc...

I am beside myself

This dish is Biscuits with a chorizo sauce

Crumpet

They said that I HAD to go to this shop.

So of course I went

And checked out the menu

I went simple and sweet at first

The butter was just soaked up into the crumpet (gooooodddd)

Then I went savory - egg and smoked salmon

OH MY!

I prefer the simple and sweet but it was all good

The store itself was kinda cute and cozy

I hear that there is usually a line around the block in the mornings for these crumpets

Who woulda thought!
