Exploring again

We braved the crowds and went roaming on this day

Just looking to find

Whatever was there

And find we did

A great store with a wine tasting

The owner of the store really seemed to know her stuff

Which was a relief for me really

Made me more interested in buying

The atmosphere was really cozy too!

We bought a bunch of stuff there

AND it was worth it baby

Let me tell you...My next trip is gonna be a doozy

Sometimes there is nothing better in a Saturday than visiting the farmer's market

Sometimes

But on this Saturday

It was sublime

Firstly all the people there just seemed soooo into it

The food was so fresh and NEW looking

I was in awe

I just liked looking at all the yummies

Since I can't eat chocolate, people are taking liberties and experimenting with other flavors of dessert

It's a Zucchini cake in a sunflower mold
Let me tell you It was moist and so rich and good
Oooooohhhhhh I love it
Normally I probably wouldn't have had it
But now?
I think everybody should

The Dinner Party

Part 1
I was really tired from hanging out the night before but I still had a lot of fun

A and M and M are perfect hosts

They cooked while we were there so it was like the most informal intimate dinner party

Appetizers included

Tomatoes

Prosciutto
Olives

Brie and pecorino with honey

And yummy crusty bread

Pal and they had espresso as well

I didn't have any but it looked yummy

We all had bubbly and

CHEERS!

Dinner was barbeque

Pork chops

Chicken

Peppers

Roasted potatoes

Curried couscous

And Wine!!

Part 3
Dessert
Lemon Bars

Tea

and coffee

OHHHHH I was so exhausted when I got home
I am just barely recovered

Fest

We ended up at the Ocktoberfest tasting

All these different beers

AND we got these cool glasses to take home

Pal knows a lot about beer and brews so he kind of taught me

They serverd Brats and sauerkraut there

I just had brats

Pal took me to this place where we found tons of foreign beer
It was amazing
I like learning new things

With Pal

We went exploring again before the Ocktoberfest and got hungry

So we ended up here
Thai food
We started with Satay

I had the Thai beef salad

Pal had Panang curry

His was definitely more delicious

But I still like mine
We both win

For tonight

There is to be a dinner party.

I forgot about chocolate and me and offered to bring a red velvet cake...

I can't eat any of this

It does look yummy though
