Vegetarian
My camera konked out on me before I could get ALL the dishes.

It was really interesting and great though. This was pizza (soooo good)

All the people were really cool. Ama made this lovely/heavenly crushed pineapple curry hummus.

Ok the meal was good I liked it.

Two things.
A little bit carby and soy milk in some of the dishes (I am still allergic- so I felt really ill a few minutes after I ate the lasagne.)
There were these great vegetarian sushi rolls with a spicy mustard dressing, and just all manner of things to eat!
But overall- Lovely time great people :)

More Brie
Ok I have been trying stuff with Brie but didn't take any pics except this one. I tried a creme brie seasoned rice which was really good.
This time I did baked brie again but tried cutting off some of the rind.

It worked better but I really have to cut the cheese up into slices or something.

Peace meal
I was eating at that place I usually eat at...You have to go get your food.
I asked one of the chefs for his artichoke thing and he told me it would be 4 minutes before it was ready. I went and sat down- maybe to wait- I dunno if I wanted to get it after all. I had greens on a plate already...
The chef brought it over for me. I was so surprised and so grateful and it tasted so good.

It was artchoke (not acid tasting like store bought), chicken, black olives, tomato, stir fried. I think he was supposed to put it in creamy sauce over pasta but I didn't want that- just this!
That was really nice of him but alll the chefs there are really sweet to me. When I want something off the menu some of them actually make it for me. "Can you stirfry some chicken and broccoli for me?:
Sure!
Yeah I love nice people!!!!!!!!!! It lifts my spirits -dark days

The food there
So I went to that thing with Dick Gregory.
He is so sweet.
I didn't eat anything.

I watched what he ate.

The grapes, the fruit, the water.

He is all about health.

75 cents
So one of the grocery stores I visit had this sale on ice cream.
75 cents for these.

I don't normally eat ice cream but I had to get some just for the sake of the sale
I haven't eaten any of it as yet.
I feel proud because of the sale though :)

To make falafel-Trying next maybe
This is a very easy recipe
INGREDIENTS:
PREPARATION:
Place dried chickpeas in a bowl, covering with cold water. Allow to soak overnight. Omit this step if using canned beans.Drain chickpeas, and place in pan with fresh water, and bring to a boil.
Allow to boil for 5 minutes, then let simmer on low for about an hour.
Drain and allow to cool for 15 minutes.
Combine chickpeas, garlic, onion, coriander, cumin, salt and pepper (to taste) in medium bowl. Add flour.
Mash chickpeas, ensuring to mix ingredients together. You can also combine ingredients in a food processor. You want the result to be a thick paste.
Form the mixture into small balls, about the size of a ping pong ball. Slightly flatten.
Fry in 2 inches of oil at 350 degrees until golden brown (5-7 minutes).
Serve hot.

Kedgeree
I wanted to try this since I saw it in my Naparima cookbook

I got out my fish and did what they told me.

It tastes really good.

I can freeze it and have little bits when I feel like it.
I didn't add the boiled egg, but I did add raisins and this gave it a really nice sweetness per spoonful.

Nice wine
Gnarly head again is calling me.
I like going to the place that sells it.
Just really interesting items on the shelves.

Tastes really good. Next time :)
