A new place

We walked around downtown and I found a place I really like. They used to have live music the people in town say but not anymore.

I will have to visit.
Thank goodness. :)

Interesting

It was interesting that this rest stop had a billion pots of different types of coffee.

I have never seen but the lonely ONE pot before.
Pretty cool :)

I don't know what to do now

I was reading up on Marcel Vigneron and happened upon Luxirare.
I think my life is now complete.
Their fashion and food mix is amazing and I love them.
They have a badass video illustrating the CHIC way to make Mozzerella cheese.
Have Mercy.
I love them.

I read everything on their website while listening to A:xus.
It's only fitting!

Shirataki

I tried the Shirataki Noodles

The only thing the Asian markets had was the Tofu kind so I asked them to order the one that wasn't tofu. (2 weeks)

SO this is how it came and had to be refrigerated.

I washed them out and started to sautee them with some seasoned tuna

UMMMMMMMM

Ok I have to say the texture when shewing is like soft rubber band, not like noodles
AND you really have to season your food to your taste because the noodles don't readily pick up flavor.
That means you have to have a sauce.
AND..I think it's going to be an acquired taste
AND this bag had 2 servings at 25 calories per serving. 3 g carbs, 2 grams of the 3 was fiber, so that's good.
I am gonna wait for the other kind of shiratki

Experiments with Black beans

I wanted to make black bean patties to have another meat alternative.
So I went for it.
I give myself A for effort :)

So I rinsed and drained some canned beans
Then mushed them with spoon


Added seasonings to tatse- pepper sauce, parsley, oregano, paprika, some dill.
Then Egg and 1/2 tbs flour and 1/2 table spoon of corn flour.


Mixed, then shallow fry


Then got this

It was delicious. I really liked it!

Experiments with Chick peas

I wanted to redo those falafel things I made the last time so I tried again.
This time was better.

Got this

Then rinsed then and drained them

Then crushed them with a spoon.

Added seasonings to taste

One tbsp flour

Egg to bind

Mix

Shallow fry

Golden

Yummy

Very Yummy. This is my vegetarian effort. I use this in place of meat. Wherever I would use meat before in my meal i use these. they are protein and fiber righ.
A lot of carb but 1/4 of the carb is fiber.

Green Apple Curry Chutney

A friend of mine told me that curried green apples tasted just like the curried mango chutney that we usually made, so I decided to try it.

Cut them up like so

Put them in the pot with curry, orange habanero pepper sauce, a little salt, parsley and oregano.

Add water (to cover) after a minute of sautee in curry

Bring to boil then simmer

Add a half cup of brown sugar
Cook for half hour (apples will mush -that is what you want)

Voila

Yum City

The best snack in the world

I wanted to just sit n my chair and eat pomegranate

Well suck on the seeds really...

I did

It was sooo very very delicious.

Omg

This is my favorite new snack

I am going to get more
FYI the white part is a little bitter so eat that is you like but the seeds are the best. Just pick them out and suck on them.

I really had to this time

I was craving cake
It was a real craving.
I never experienced a craving so bad before.

It was so bad that I drove to a place to get cake

I got this becauseI had seen a chef/baker making them on tv before but I'd never gone to aplace that had them.

So I bought it

OMG
SO good!
It was semi- sweet and a little dry like bread but its cake....
I am going tonight to get more!
I know its pure carbs but I am craving (Yes I have self control!)

Kinda fail

This was to be really good
I felt that I should make something sweet
So I thought pudding- bread pudding
So I got milk

Eggs

started that

Orange marmalade that Cris gave me

Chocolate

Waffles etc.

Started to mix

Added mixture to waffles

Put some crushed Fiber One cereal on top.

Baked at 350 for 30 mins

Then I didn't like how it looked- sweet and gooey

I knew it would be sweet and carby
So I couldn't eat it. I should have tried it but i didn't.
Therefore it kinda failed.
